Today’s challenge: STOP focusing on your long-term goals.
Don’t be baffled. I’m not saying to not have long-term goals, but rather don’t focus on them ALL day. Put your focus on ONE thing each day to increase insurance agency productivity.
Focus on the ONE thing you are doing each moment. And nothing else.
Take your long-term goal and break it down to monthly results. Take those monthly results and break them down into weekly commitments.
Take those weekly commitments and break them down into daily activities. And finally, take those daily activities and time block them individually.
Each day focus on ONE activity…with 100% laser-like focus…whichever activity it is you are working on at that very moment, within that assigned time block. And, that’s it!
By breaking it down in this matter, achieving your long-term goals becomes a matter of WHEN, not IF, as long as you are dialed in on the ONE essential activity that you need to execute at the very moment while you are working on it.
When you win each moment…you win each day.
When you win each day…you win your week.
Win your weeks…you win the month.
And by winning each month…you will achieve your long-term goal.
But it all starts with knowing which essential activities you MUST execute each day. Then make sure you remain focused on just ONE of those activities at a time all day long.
I’ve often said that the difference between 1st place and 21st place in our industry is ONE.
What if YOU and everyone else on your team did just ONE more quote?
Or had ONE more referral?
Or held ONE more appointment?
Or transition from service to sales…ONE more time?
When you eliminate vacations and holidays…you have about 240 working days each year. If you are on a team of THREE and you each do just ONE more thing each day…
That’s 720 additional opportunities each year.
But it all starts with just ONE!
So…. what will your ONE thing be today to increase your insurance agency productivity?
